Los Backstreet Boys conmocionan Monterrey

La agrupación se reencontró con más de ocho mil fanáticos regios, quienes fueron deleitados con el concierto This is us
Monterrey, 19 de marzo (El Universal): Los integrantes de la banda estadounidense The Backstreet Boys causaron conmoción al interpretar sus grandes éxitos ante ocho mil 500 personas (cifra oficial) , en la Arena Monterrey.
Luego de dos años de ausencia, el reencuentro del grupo con el público regiomontano dio inicio con un video que mostró la cuenta regresiva y presentó a AJ McLean, Howie Dorough, Brian Littrell y Nick Carter, quienes dieron la bienvenida a sus fanáticas interpretando "Everybody" , "We've got it goin on" y "PDA" .
Durante la canción "PDA" , Nick Carter dijo visiblemente feliz: "íViva México!, y después saludó a las fans que se acercaron al escenario; además, los artistas permitieron a algunas de sus seguidoras tomarse la foto con ellos.
Los temas más exitoso que tuvieron desde el álbum " Backstreet back " hasta " This is us " fueron cantadas en esta ocasión, encendiendo al público, sobre todo con " Show me the meaning of being lonely ", " Quit playing games (with my heart) " y " Nunca te haré llorar ", entre muchas otras.
El cuarteto tuvo alrededor de seis cambios de vestuario, mientras que en algunas escenas sólo cambiaba el saco o la camisa. El más llamativo fue el vestuario tipo robot, con el que interpretaron " Larger than Life ", en la que incluyeron los coros de " Seven nation army's ", del grupo The White Stripes.
Además de la introducción, durante el concierto se presentaron cuatro videos en los que los integrantes de la banda actuaron una escena de varias películas, Howie se presentó en el videoclip de " Tha fast and furious ", AJ en " The fight club ", Brian en " Enchated " y Nick en " Matrix ".
Los intérpretes de " All of your life " demostraron su buen estado físico cuando Brian realizó un gran salto, desde una tarima hasta el piso delantero del escenario y se paró de manos; en tanto, Howie se movía en forma circular, y AJ y Nick Carter bailaban sensualmente para las chicas.
La producción del concierto fue muy sencilla, ya que sólo se manejó un arco de luces que cambiaba de color y una pantalla, además de los micrófonos y algunos bancos rojos. En el escenario también se encontraba un DJ, quien tuvo la oportunidad de abrir el concierto y presentar dos " remix " durante el concierto.
Al término del concierto, The Backstreet Boys agradeció la presencia del público, mientras que Nick Carter se puso un sombrero mexicano y dijo: " íGracias Monterrey! " y, agregó, " íUstedes son los mejores fans! ".
" Te amo " expresó AJ al finalizar sus canciones, además fue quien se acercó más al público, hasta bajarse del escenario para convivir con sus admiradoras.
Con su concierto, titulado " This is us ", la banda estadounidense deleitó al público por alrededor de dos horas, haciendo que las jóvenes no pararan de gritar y bailar al ritmo de la música.
" I want it that way " y " Straight through my heart" fueron las canciones que corearon las aficionadas al finalizar el evento, y tras agradecer la presencia de las fans The Backstreet Boys dejó el escenario.
